The book is a collection of some of the most inspiring interiors which we have been fortunate enough to contribute to over the decades, as well as some of our most recognisable creative collaborations. The title celebrates the beauty and spirit of our hand painted wallpapers and their power to transform and transport.

de Gournay are delighted to share photography of their new showroom in Beirut: an extraordinary 100 year old premises showcasing the company's hand crafted creations within one of the oldest cities in the world.A longstanding centre of creative and commercial activity, de Gournay are excited to further engage with the developing wave of design talent emerging from the Arab world as their repertoire of bespoke expertise continues to reach new heights.Installed throughout with a resplendent series of de Gournay’s hand painted wallpapers, the interior also displays the very latest examples of hand embroidery and beading upon designs old and new - in addition to original motifs envisaged by industry luminaries India Mahdavi and David/Nicolas.

Following the positive response to its first interpretation in Pink, the ‘Amazonia’ hand painted design was refreshed against a cool Blue for de Gournay’s newly opened San Francisco showroom: which in turn inspired Aquazzura’s Edgardo Osorio to design another corresponding footwear in a matching tone.
